Eligibility

• Candidates should have passed 12th Class or equivalent from a recognized Board/ University/ Institution.
• Stenographer Grade D Transcription: English: 50 Minutes | Hindi 65 Minutes.
• Stenographer Grade C Transcription: English 40 Minutes | Hindi 55 Minutes.

SSC Stenographer 2023 Total Vacancy Details

• Stenographer Grade ‘C’ has a total of 93 tentative vacancies, with 49 for the General category, 6 for EWS, 22 for OBC, 13 for SC, and 3 for ST.
• Stenographer Grade ‘D’ has a total of 3571 tentative vacancies, with 499 for the General category, 90 for EWS, 88 for OBC, 593 for SC, and 165 for ST.

Selection Process

• Candidate selection is based on Computer Based Examination, Skill Test in Stenography and Document Verification (DV).
• SSC Stenographer Grade C & D Exam will be conducted through online mode. The exam will last for 2 hours with 200 questions. The questions will be of the following types:
• Common sense and logic
• Numerical Ability.
• English Language.
• Arithmetic Ability.
• Stenography (Speed & Accuracy).
