Nuclear Power Corporation of India Limited (NPCIL) has released a recruitment notification for 122 Executive Trainee posts. Candidates will be selected based on their GATE 2022, GATE 2023, or GATE 2024 scores in various engineering disciplines.

Post-wise Explanation:

• Mechanical Engineering (50 Posts):
  Nuclear power plants and industrial projects require engineers for machinery design and maintenance.

Selection Process

The selection process for Executive Trainee posts in NPCIL will be conducted in three stages:

1. Shortlisting through GATE Score

• Candidates will be shortlisted based on their GATE 2022, GATE 2023, or GATE 2024 scores.
• Only those candidates whose GATE score meets the NPCIL cutoff will be called for the next stage.

2. Personal Interview (PI)

• Shortlisted candidates will be invited for a Personal Interview, which may be held at NPCIL’s designated centers in Mumbai, Delhi, Chennai, Kolkata, or other locations.
• Weightage in Selection:
  • GATE score alone will not determine selection; interview performance will also be considered.
  • The final selection will be based on both GATE score and Interview marks.

3. Final Merit List & Document Verification

• A merit list will be prepared based on the GATE score and interview performance.
• Selected candidates must undergo Medical Examination as per NPCIL norms.
• Document Verification will include checking original certificates such as educational qualifications, GATE scorecard, category certificates (if applicable), etc.
