Educational Qualification

| H.P. Administrative Services, Block Development Officer, Tehsildar, Assistant Commissioner | ABachelor’s Degree or its equivalent. Candidates appearing for their final degree examination (result pending) or intending to appear may apply provisionally, provided they complete the exam before the HPAS examination begins. Proof of passing must be submitted within 02 months of the exam start date. For MBBS or equivalent medical qualifications, candidates who have passed but not completed their internship can apply provisionally, submitting proof of passing the final professional exam. They must provide completion certificates (including internship) at the personality test stage. |

Selection Process
- Preliminary Examination:
- 02 objective papers (General Studies and Aptitude Test, 200 marks each).
Aptitude Test: - Minimum qualified 33% marks
- Merit List includes [General Studies].
Negative marking applies (1/3rd mark deducted per wrong answer).
Main Examination:
Compulsory papers (English, Hindi, Essay, General Studies I-III) and 01 optional subjects (two papers).
Personality Test: Assesses intellectual qualities, social traits, and suitability for service, with marks contributing to the final merit along with the Main Examination.
