Under the newly launched scheme, as many as 381 budget private schools had offered 24,987 seats for students from economically weaker sections of government schools, for which the state will refund their fee of Rs 700/1,100 per student. A body of government school teachers, Haryana Vidyalaya Adhyapak Sangh, is not at all satisfied with the Cheerag scheme and has already started protesting across the state. Wazir Singh, the former president of the Sangh, said that this scheme aims to close the government schools. What is Haryana KG to PG Scheme 2022

• Under Haryana KG to PG Scheme, the state government will provide free education to those students whose confirmed family income is less than Rs 1.80 lakh per annum. To avail of the Haryana Free Education scheme benefits, the applicant’s family must possess Parivar Pehchan Patra or Family ID.

Kurukshetra University has started preparing for admission to be given under KG to PG scheme from this academic session which is 2021-22. CM Khattar stated that “At present, digital reforms have been brought to replace human interface in almost every wing of the government. The online teacher’s transfer policy is one of the greatest examples of this as under this system more than 90% of teachers are satisfied.
