The Government has launched a specific portal to deal with this campaign and spread awareness regarding the same. The citizens must pin a flag on the portal by registering themselves online. These citizens will be eligible to get a certificate for hoisting the National Flag, Tiranga, or Tricolor. The campaign was suggested and launched by the Home Minister of India, Amit Shah. The national flag hoisting will commence on 13 August 2022. The campaign shall continue till 15th August 2022, which is the 75th Independence Day for India. About the Certificate of Appreciation of Hard Ghar Tiranga

The certificate of the Har Ghar Tiranga Campaign will be an appreciation certificate that shall display only the name of the citizen. The citizen will be awarded for successfully pinning a flag on the virtual map of India precisely to the location. Moreover, it will also contain the logo of the campaign. The certificate will be officially issued by the Ministry of Culture. The document will be available as a png image. The citizens can save it or print it or even directly share it online.

Terms and Conditions

The Competition is open to all Indian students studying in Law Colleges / Institutes across all the States of India.

All entries must be submitted on Entries submitted through any other portal/ medium/mode will not be considered for evaluation.

A participant can send one entry only for one competition. Separate entries may be sent for each competition. In case it is found that any participant has submitted more than one entry for one competition, all the entries will be considered as invalid.

Each entry should be original. Plagiarised entries will not be considered for evaluation and will treat as invalid.

Please note that the Essay must be original and should not violate any provision of the Indian Copyright Act, 1957.

Anyone found infringing on others’ copyright would be disqualified from the competition. The government of India does not bear any responsibility for copyright violations or infringements of Intellectual Property Rights by the participants.

Mention of the name/email etc. of the participant anywhere in the body of the essay or in the video will lead to disqualification.

Participants to make sure that their the profile is accurate and updated as the Department of Legal Affairs (DLA) shall be using this for further communication. This includes details such as the name, photograph, complete postal address, e-mail ID and phone number, and details of the colleges/institute. Entries with incomplete profiles will not be considered.

However, any changes to the Terms and Conditions/Technical Parameters/Evaluation Criteria, or cancellation of the Contest, will be updated/posted.
